Aniella Sophie Goldinger is a landscape and urban researcher, currently based in Berlin. In her doctoral research, she investigates the mediation of oceanspace and the spatiality of environing practices in the Arctic and Southern Ocean territories. Her research is centered on oceanic hinterlands and the extended urban fabric of the polar territories across landscape and urban studies and science and technology studies.

She holds degrees in landscape architecture specializing in Arctic and sub-Arctic territories (MLA) from the Oslo School of Architecture, campus Romsa/Tromsø, where her thesis research delved into the material agency and spatio-legality of sea ice, and architecture (BA) from the Royal Danish Academy, School of Architecture. Since 2023, she has been teaching at cue, the Institute of Architecture, Technische Universität Berlin.
